If you have added a class to your wait list, check WebAdvisor to verify if you have been auto enrolled into the course. This will happen if a seat becomes available and the system adds you from the wait list (see exceptions below*). If you are registered, your student account will be charged with enrollment fees which must be paid as soon as possible, unless you have been approved for a BOGG fee waiver through Financial Aid.
IMPORTANT: Check WebAdvisor frequently to see if you have moved from the wait list to enrolled status. IT IS THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CONFIRM ENROLLMENT AND PAY ANY ADDITIONAL FEES. IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO REMAIN IN THE CLASS, YOU MUST DROP YOURSELF BY THE DROP AND REFUND DEADLINES.
If you are NOT registered into the class and are still on the wait list when the semester starts, attend the first day of class. If the instructor accepts you in the class, they will give you a four digit authorization code. For online classes, instructors will email you an authorization code.
*YOU WILL NOT BE AUTO ENROLLED INTO A CLASS FROM THE WAITLIST AND MUST REGISTER IN PERSON WITH YOUR AUTHORIZATION CODE IF THE FOLLOWING APPLY:
You have fulfilled the prerequisite at another college for the class you are on the wait list for and have submitted a prerequisite challenge form to the Vice President's office in Bldg 55.
The wait list class will put you in an overload or you have been approved for an overload petition (over 18 units for Fall/Spring and over 8 units for Summer/Winter).
You have been approved for a petition to repeat a course.
If the wait list class will conflict in time/day with a class that you are currently enrolled in.
